January 9th, 2019 – Adastra Labs Inc. (“Adastra” or the “Company”) announces purchase of facility in Langley, BC. “I am happy to report we have closed and taken possession of our 13,035 square foot facility in the Township of Langley, British Columbia for cannabis-hemp standard processing and analytical testing,” noted Andy Hale CEO of Adastra.
As a former food manufacturing site, the facility will now undergo an extensive renovation following a rigorous design development and review process to ensure the facility is setup to meet both Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and ISO 17025 for its co-located standard processing operations and full-spectrum analytical testing laboratory. “Acquiring our site as a hard asset ensures future security of our business operations and future plans,” stated CEO Andy Hale.
This Gloucester Industrial Park facility sits on 0.86 acres in the Township of Langley with an M-2 Industrial Zoning. “We intend to embark on a site re-zoning to ensure the Township of Langley leadership is completely on board with our site’s purpose and business operations. We are confident this will set in place a positive working relationship as we forge ahead together in the rapidly emerging licensed Lower Mainland cannabis industry,” said Hale.
